A little bit about Sam
Sam is an international judge and competition winner, and in 2008 was finalist for nail professional of the year, having featured on the BBC, ITV and in the national press, Sam hopes to bring colour and help technicians find inspiration to express their creativity, which helps develop their careers by utilising new skills.
As an independent global educator Sam brings a new way of learning to nail technicians all over the world. Sam loves to teach and sees it as an exchange of knowledge; “for every lesson I give, I learn as much as the students”.
With a career that has taken her across the globe; Sam started within this industry in 2000 as a mobile nail technician, before going on to owning her own salon and successful nail academy. Fully aware of the highs and lows of running a successful business on the high street, Sam can empathize with her students, and help them find creative ways to build their business. In 2004 after a bout of cancer Sam’s priorities changed, now working with a different agenda, her desire to give something back to the industry, helping it grow and showing nail technicians that there can be alternative ways to realizing their own potential.
Now with her own company ‘be inspired’ Sam brings a series of tools to develop technicians move forward within their craft. Sam has designed specialized and advanced workshops and DVD’s plus publications to support nail technicians. The aim of ‘be inspired’ is to show that anything is possible, giving you the tools you could need to realize your dreams and ambitions.
Outside the industry Sam continues to wow people with her creations, giving them an example of just how far you can take the art of nails. Although most of these fantastical pieces of art ore not for the average customer, it goes a long way to inspire them to try and bring a little colour into their lives. Showing them that anything is possible.
Sam’s method is to show everyone, that through the power of our own inner creativity, and from the inspiration we see all around, we can have the power to achieve the unimaginable.
