Vanessa has been working in the Beauty industry since 1999. Having spent the earlier part of her working life as a Civil Servant, Vanessa decided a change was needed and in 1998 retrained as a Beauty Therapist.
She began a home and mobile beauty business in 1999 and moved to renting rooms in Hot Heads Hair salon in 2003. In 2007 she took the plunge and with her husband, Mike, opened Triniti Beauty, Distribution and Training on 2nd August 2007. The basement training rooms opened in May 2008.
Vanessa has been offering beauty training since Triniti opened and is the main trainer for all Solana Nail (Le Chat) and Beauty training for Triniti.

A little bit about Vanessa
Vanessa takes a hands on approach to delivering training. "Having done all my training as a mature student, part time, I know how important getting hands on practice is while you are on the course, so you can ask questions and get feedback. All my students get plenty of hands on experience during the course so that when they leave they have the confidence to continue developing their skills knowing they have got the basics right."
She also believes strongly in the positive approach. "I am a great believer in building students confidence through positive reinforcement as I consistently get better results with this method. I have been on many courses where the trainers use negative feedback to spur trainees into getting better and find that kind of training style unhelpful."
Vanessa is also very passionate about continuous professional development. "I have continued to learn throughout my career, picking up tips, tricks and new techniques from everyone I train with. I incorporate as much of this learning as possible within the courses I deliver to ensure my students get a great course that combines the basics as well as all my experience."
